At one point or another, we’ve all woken up to dark circles under our eyes. These can make us look tired, sick, and worn down. To understand what we need to do to get rid of eye circles, it’s important to know the causes. Things like not getting enough sleep, drinking too much, genetics, and too much sun are some of the most common things that can cause dark circles under your eyes.
Sometimes, what appear to be dark circles under your eyes may merely be shadows cast by puffy eyelids or hollows under your eyes that develop as a normal part of aging. Whatever the cause, here are some of my pro tips to help treat dark circles:
Apply Lemon Juice. The citrus and vitamin C helps lighten the dark skin.
Apply Tomato Slices. Tomatoes have natural bleaching properties. You can also drink a glass of tomato juice from one organic tomato blended with mint leaves, parsley, lemon juice and salt. For maximum results, be sure to drink this juice immediately after making it. Drink it once or twice a day for about a week.
Apply Almond Oil: This is a wonderful natural ingredient that is perfect for the delicate skin around your eyes. Regular use of almond oil will help fade your under-eye circles. In addition to almond oil, you can use vitamin E oil to eliminate dark circles under the eyes.
Apply Chamomile Ice Cubes: The ice helps get rid of any swelling and inflammation while the chamomile is calming for your tired eyes.
